These, in turn, have resulted in more severe and more widespread contamination of our atmosphere. Where man is, there pollution is. Where- ever man’s life processes, both individual and societal, pour wastes into a smallarea, serious contamination results. If the trend continues, moreover, the problem of air pollution is likely to become even more drastic in the future."
